TOFU Meetings:

TOFU is a group of paper folders who meet in Raleigh, NC.  Our goal is to share origami with all who are interested.  TOFU is an OrigamiUSA Regional Group.

We meet once a month in a local bookstore.  Beginners and newbies are very welcome to join us!  Young children are welcome, but we ask that parents accompany them.  The meetings are FREE.  Origami paper is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

If you are stuck on a particular model, bring it to a meeting and someone should be able to help you. Bring along your origami creations... we would love to see them!

This month's big project was folding the Rhombic Dodecahedron shaped calendar.
A simple box, and a cobra were also taught.

We had a large group of people show up to fold Valentine's Day models!
One of the models taught was Heart with Pockets by Cynthia Fulbright.  See the diagrams!

• September 30, 2000
September's meeting was on the 5th Saturday, because the Southeastern Origami Festival in Charlotte, NC was during the 4th weekend.

Some of the models that were folded: Basic cube for the Menger Sponge, and easy flower, two different dish shapes, a mask by Eric Joisel, and some people were working on a dragon based upon Golden Venture modules.
